Wonderfully Warming Winter Stew
100g of Infinity Foods Organic Pearl Barley
100g Homedods British Fava Beans
100ml of boiling water*
3 cloves of garlic
2 Vegusto Vegi-sausages Wiener*
2 cans of Suma Organic Chopped Tomatoes
1 can of Suma Organic Cannellini Beans
1. Roughly chop the onion and garlic, and add to pan on a medium heat.
2. Once the onions and garlic start to brown, add the sausage and cook for around five
3. Add the chopped tomatoes, water, pearl barley and fava beans and cook for 20minutes.
4. Finally. add the cannellini beans, and a bit of extra water depending on how thick you like
your stew, cook for a further 10minutes.
* for added flavour add a stock cube to the boiling water
* any vegan sausage can be substituted in, but the vegusto one is our favourite
